Koi Clear Water Treatment — A Natural Probiotic for Clear Water and Healthy Fish
Koi Clear Water Treatment (KCWT) is a unique water and soil probiotic developed for ponds with a high stocking density. It’s designed to work with your pond’s natural ecosystem rather than against it.

How It Works
Your pond filter is very good at removing solid debris — but it can’t remove substances that are fully dissolved in the water, in the same way a filter can’t remove sugar once it has dissolved. Dissolved organic waste from fish (including ammonia-based waste) falls into this category, and left untreated it builds up in the water over time.
KCWT enzymes break down and consume this dissolved waste (Total Dissolved Solids, or TDS), helping to keep your water genuinely clean at a level filtration alone can’t reach.
Dosage
Use one 100g pack of KCWT per 10,000 litres of pond water, applied once a month for ongoing maintenance. Depending on the number and size of your fish, and the volume of water plants in your pond, you may need two packs per treatment.
How to use
- Pour the entire contents of one KCWT pack into a 10-litre container of water. Stir well and leave for 5 minutes to allow the enzymes to activate.
- Pour the activated solution evenly around the edges of the pond.
What to expect
Your pond water may appear cloudier on the second or third day after treatment — this is a normal part of the process. Water clarity typically improves within a week!
With regular monthly maintenance using KCWT, many pond owners find they don’t need a full water change for up to 9 months.
